Challenges: ideas in a duel

With Challenges, you let two ideas go head-to-head: within a fixed time window, citizens vote for A or B. It draws attention, boosts participation and helps you make priorities visible.

Sign in as a moderator and open Moderation → Challenges. You manage all duels there.
Create a challenge
Select two ideas (A and B), optionally give it a title and set a start and end time. Both ideas should be fairly comparable.
Understand the time window
Before the start, the challenge is „scheduled“ and visible only to you. Within the window it's „live“ and public; afterwards it's „completed“ and shows the result.
Voting & result
While a challenge is live, it appears under „Challenges“ as a duel card and as a banner on the homepage. Citizens vote with one click and the standings update automatically. After it ends, you see the winning idea; completed duels can be archived.
FAQ
I don't see „Challenges“
The feature is part of the Organisation plan. Check your plan under Moderation → Plan or contact us for an upgrade.
Can I change or end a running challenge?
You can edit and archive challenges. Archived duels are no longer shown to citizens.
What happens if an involved idea is deleted or archived?
Challenges that refer to archived or deleted ideas are automatically hidden from the public list.
