History & status updates

Updated on 10.07.2026

Every idea has a history: a clear chronicle of what has happened — from submission through approval to status changes and moderation updates. That keeps it transparent for everyone how an idea is progressing.

What appears in the history

  • The submission of the idea.
  • The approval by moderation.
  • Status changes — for example „Selected“ or „In progress“.
  • Moderation updates — short texts that explain the current state.

Update the status (as a moderator)

Change an idea's status when it reaches a new phase. The change automatically appears in the history — and the idea moves accordingly on the progress page.

Write an update

Write a short update that explains the current state — for example „We're coordinating implementation with the building authority“. You can pin important updates so they stay at the top. In the Organisation plan, the AI Co-Pilot helps with „Draft update“.

Show or hide the history

Whether the history is publicly visible is set under Moderation → Settings with the „Show history“ option.

FAQ

Do citizens see the history?

Can I highlight an important update?

Yes. Pin an update so it stays at the top of the history and catches the eye immediately.
