First-time setup with the wizard

Right after registration, a short setup wizard greets you. In four steps, your platform is ready to go in a few minutes — you don't need any technical skills.

Enter the basics
Enter your platform's name, your city or organization and optionally a short tagline. These later appear in the header and on the homepage.
Choose a design
Choose a color theme and a homepage layout. This immediately gives your platform a fitting look — you can adjust the details anytime later.
Set categories
Define the categories under which citizens sort their ideas — for example Transport, Environment or Social. A few suggestions are already preselected; you can change, add to or remove them.
Finish
Review the summary and complete the setup. Your platform is now ready to go and reachable for citizens.

Can I change the details later?
Yes, anytime. You'll find basics, categories and statuses under Moderation → Settings, and the look under Moderation → Appearance.
Do I have to fill out all steps right away?
No. The basics are enough to start. You can refine design and categories later at your leisure.
How do I set up more categories or statuses?
Under Moderation → Settings you can add, rename or remove categories and status options anytime.
