Employee suggestion scheme
An employee suggestion scheme is the system by which a company collects, evaluates and rewards improvement suggestions from its staff.
In an employee suggestion scheme, staff submit ideas for improving processes, products or working conditions. An assessment decides on implementation and — depending on the model — on a reward. The goals are better processes, cost savings and higher motivation.
A digital scheme replaces the old suggestion-box logic: submitting, evaluating and feeding back happen transparently in one place, duplicates become visible, and each idea’s status is traceable. The scheme is closely related to continuous improvement (CIP).
Key features
- Focus on suggestions from staff
- Assessment and often a reward
- Goal: better processes and savings
- Transparent follow-up instead of a suggestion box
With MyIdeas, an employee suggestion scheme runs digitally: submit, vote, implement — transparent and on any device.
