For municipalities in Switzerland
From spatial planning to neighbourhood projects: with MyIdeas you collect ideas, run participation processes online and involve residents — transparent, data-minimal and ready in minutes.
Public participation is firmly established in Switzerland: on land-use plans, regulations or neighbourhood development, residents are meant to have a say. But classic participation processes — public display, paper, town meetings — often reach only a few. A digital platform lowers the barrier and makes participation visible.
MyIdeas brings idea collection, voting and a public progress view together in one place. The municipality keeps moderation, residents see that their contributions land — and nobody needs a password; they simply sign in with an SMS code.
Instead of a notice at the town hall, participation happens where people already are: in the browser. Ideas and feedback are collected with a low barrier, weighted and transparently followed up.
Participation only works if everyone can join. That is why MyIdeas uses a barrier-free sign-in and works on any device.
Personal data stays minimal and protected. MyIdeas works without a cookie banner or third-party tracking — an approach that fits Swiss data protection.
Collect and weight ideas for shaping squares, paths and meeting places.
Prioritise proposals for green spaces, playgrounds and climate projects together.
Gather structured feedback on proposals — traceable for everyone.
Mitwirkung means involving residents early, for example in planning at municipal level. Vernehmlassung is the formal consultation on legislation, usually at cantonal or federal level. MyIdeas is designed above all for low-barrier participation and idea collection.
Data is held on European servers. MyIdeas is data-minimal, works without a cookie banner and without third-party tracking — each municipality gets its own, strictly isolated instance.
